Made in 2008, the name 'Hueys Handshake' came about from this still from the movie. I showed my daughter my hand in the face of the wave and she said "hey, you're shaking hands with Huey!" So a movie was born. It features local identities and colourful characters talking about their lives and their dreams of surfing and life. The movie was made on a budget of zero and was made using a $400 Sony waterproof camera. A true classic.
'Winter Sessions 2009' is a window into the surf sessions of local surfers surfing local waves. High definition slow motion capture features throughout the movie and a raft of digital effects combine with wild footage of storms and rainbows to bring a collage of colourful images capturing sublime moments in time.
